Canggu Beach is essentially a coastal area; however, it does have a prominent inland as well. The village first gained prominence as being one of Bali’s top surfing destinations. Canggu has several beaches such as the Pererenan, Batu Bolong, and the famous Echo Beach, which are known for being some of the best places to surf in during the dry season. Apart from surfing, the Canggu is great to just explore as the beaches are beautiful, and the islands are known for their scenic rice paddies. But nature is not the only thing that you get at Canggu. The village also has a good nightlife with popular night time hangout spots such as Deus Café, Bu-Ba-Q’s, Berawa Beach Tavern, the Pretty Poison Bar, the Sand Bar, and the Old Man’s Bar. There are also several surf shops, fashion shops, and gift shops, as well as exciting attractions such as the Bounce Bali Trampoline Centre, the Canggu Club, and the Bali Equestrian Centre.
