
This is a most popular floating market in Thailand. Visitors floating away in boats passing by vibrant stalls stocked with food and accessories are a glorious sight to witness during your vacation.
Location
The market is located in Damnoen Saduak District, about 100 kilometres south west of Bangkok. The district is however easily accessible by bus.
Floating market tour
Visitors may book a floating market tour in advance. The market tours usually start at 7 am from Bangkok and are approximately a one-hour bus ride until they get to the Damnoen district. Thus visitors staying in the city or hotels in the surrounding such as Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 may join the tour. Visitors will be provided boats to reach the stalls when arriving at the destination.
